Flash Fiction Challenge – Prompt 33

Flash Fiction Challenge! flash-fiction-badge

Week 32 submissions are in! Check them out!

Submit your week 33 flash fiction by August 20, 2014! Post a link to your submission in the comments section of the corresponding weekly prompt.

BAM! It’s finally Week 33! What’s the significance you ask? Nothing, really! I just like the number 33! And in celebration of this awesome number, we are going to pick our own story adventure!

Week 33
Prompt: Open the book you are reading right now (or a favourite if you aren’t reading anything, oh, and shame on you!), turn to page 33 (or 33% on e-readers) and write a super flash fiction about the first proper noun (person, place or thing) on the page! Word count is 500 as usual, but feel free to use 33 as your word count for this week!!

  1. Just Plain Ol' Vic says:

    “The Fax”

Oh the humanity, such pain…deep paper cut! Conflicted emotions as I stare at the sight of my splattered blood on the cover page of my fax. I should have learned to e-mail.

    __________

Reading Anne McCaffrey’s book Dragonflight. First proper noun was the character, Fax.
