Week 32 submissions are in! Check them out!
Submit your week 33 flash fiction by August 20, 2014! Post a link to your submission in the comments section of the corresponding weekly prompt.
BAM! It’s finally Week 33! What’s the significance you ask? Nothing, really! I just like the number 33! And in celebration of this awesome number, we are going to pick our own story adventure!
Prompt: Open the book you are reading right now (or a favourite if you aren’t reading anything, oh, and shame on you!), turn to page 33 (or 33% on e-readers) and write a super flash fiction about the first proper noun (person, place or thing) on the page! Word count is 500 as usual, but feel free to use 33 as your word count for this week!!

A tad late but I hope you don’t mind. My word was Tulip: FFC – Faith
Of course not!
Hi, I did 33 words in response to your prompt the other day. Thank you, TiV!
I saw it but the link didn’t work at the time. I sent a reply. No worries! I will get you story up ASAP!!
Here is my submission. It’s called “Artifact: A Carnie Point of View” Lucy
Here’s mine! Great prompt!
Oh the humanity, such pain…deep paper cut! Conflicted emotions as I stare at the sight of my splattered blood on the cover page of my fax. I should have learned to e-mail.
Reading Anne McCaffrey’s book Dragonflight. First proper noun was the character, Fax.
Hi, that’s for your submission. Can you please post a link to it on your blog! Thanks, TiV
I already reblogged it from someone who linked it from you – so good to go!
So, do I just link to you blog?
Yes if you link to my blog, you will see the post in there too (sorry – very new at this so I don’t know if there is an easier way)
Perfect!! Just want to make sure I link up okay!!
I so wanted to sing back in this week, its been too long since I have taken part in this cool challenge, but when I went to write my tale, I just couldn’t keep it down to the 500 words! Couldn’t stay between the lines, but here it is anyway, and I look forward to next week’s challenge :~) https://trifectumblog.wordpress.com/2014/08/18/foster-home/
I had a lot to say with this prompt. I went over 500 words. Sorry! https://invisibleworldd.wordpress.com/2014/08/17/the-unlocked-prison/
No worries! It was worth it! Great story!
Here’s my piece — did the 500 word thing. Can’t shut my mouth. 😉
I’m glad you can’t get your mouth shut!!! It makes for some killer reading!
The man at the railway gate
Hey, this link isn’t working!! And welcome back!
We are here for the first time. Came to know about this page through other bloggers. Here is our share of the challenge! Thank you!
My first time here and I adore flash fiction 🙂 Here is my post:
Thanks for joining the fun!!
Thank you for hosting such a creative prompt 🙂
You’re very welcome! I’m really enjoying reading all the great blogs that I may not have found otherwise! TiV
This was not only my first attempt at one of your challenges, it was my first attempt at flash fiction. I hope I didn’t embarrass myself!! 🙂 Thanks for letting me join the fun!
Welcome aboard! I will add you to the participants list!! Also, just checked out your story! Very good! Does it have a title? TiV
As if writing the flash fiction piece wasn’t difficult enough!?! LOL Can I make my title another 33 words? 🙂 For a title, No Myth.
I hear 33 word titles are trendy right now!! Thanks for the title! TiV
Yes, it does Desiree. It is called ” the man at the railway gate”.
Here’s my submission, ‘Roanoke.’ (This was a fun challenge!)
I did it in 33 words! Back after a long break.
Got busy with college. 😦
Anyhow, here it is.
I think this may have been more difficult than that six word challenge from before, but I managed to write a flash story in 33 words. It’s called “Castling”. http://adanramieblog.wordpress.com/2014/08/15/castling-thain-in-vain-week-33-challenge/
I opened Innocence to find the word Gift. I haven’t done this before and your guideline page wasn’t there. So I am guessing it’s 33 words. I’m a bit of a hyphenator, it just part of my style-hope that’s okay. Found-Love Happy Notes
The word count is up to 500, but feel free to write 33!! Also, I will add a note about the word count to reduce confusion!!!
Thanks TiV. 🙂
