Fries – A to Z Challenge

F is for fries.

I’m kinda stuck for an “F”post, so I thought I would take the Fool’s way out and post Fotos of Fries. Lame I know, but I challenge you not to crave fries–or chips for my British friends!

America – Fries & Ketchup!

Hmm…I’m pretty sure it’s salt and vinegar for the Brits! It’s almost 10 years since I moved to the UK and I haven’t seen chips smothered in brown sauce…although I am avoiding brown sauce as much as I can.

    I love fries with mustard.

You’re probably right. I haven’t been there in years, but I do remember working in pub that served brown sauce with fries/chips! Nonetheless, I don’t care for brown sauce! With mustard?!?! Sounds interesting! I’ll try it!

What exactly is poutine? I’ve been to Canada many times, along the eastern part: Ottowa, Montreal, Quebec, and I never tried it. Looks gooey and good. Lucy

When I moved to Australia, I was surprised to see people enjoy gravy over chips. I’m a salt vinegar and tomato sauce or mayo type of girl. Yiam.

Mayo is delicious with fries though not super common in Canada! Poutine is killer! If you haven’t tried it, do so! Me, I like anything with fries except brown sauce!!
